NEW GENERATION ASEAN: The Role of Youth in Fostering its Cultures and Traditions

The National Youth Commission in cooperation with the University of Sto Tomas Faculty of Arts and Letters Asian Studies Society invites 30 youth participants to the a cultural forum in celebration of the 45th founding anniversary of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations ( ASEAN ) dubbed as NEW GENERATION ASEAN: The Role of Youth in Fostering its Cultures and Traditions.

It is aimed at expanding the knowledge of Asian Studies students about how ASEAN as an organization fosters its cultures and traditions as well as how the youth of ASEAN plays an important part in advocating the unique and distinct characteristic of the region.

This will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 from 7:00 o’çlock in the morning to 12:00 noon at the Tan Yan Kee Auditorium, University of Sto. Tomas, Espana, Manila.
