Government Internship Program (GIP) Application Starts March 5, 2012

The acceptance of application for Government Internship Program (GIP) will start on March 05, 2012 (Monday) until March 09, 2012 (Friday). The applicants must be 18 – 25 years old and should not be previous beneficiaries of the program from NYC or other GIP implementing government agencies.

The applicants who will be accepted will be assigned in NYC head office located at 4th Floor Bookman Building # 373 Quezon Avenue, Quezon City

Write in the subject line following this format –
Subject: GIP APPLICATION – FULL NAME OF APPLICANT
(Example: GIP APPLICATION – JUAN ABRICO DELA CRUZ)

Personally visiting the National Youth Commission (NYC) head office.

It is NYC’s contribution po to the poverty alleviation program of the government. NYC hires and trains out-of-school, unemployed youth as interns for three months (they also receive a monthly stipend that is 75% of the minimum wage.

Question lang po...Kailan po ang internship proper ng GIP? Anytime within the year po ba ito? I just want to know po, kasi if summer lang, I am not sure if I can pursue this...

deto sa negros ung GIP na program nyo ai walang saysay kasi ang na kuha lang namin na sweldo ai 2,000 la mang....akala namin 14,404.sabi ng region ai wala nang pundo ang governoi sana hindi kayo umasa sa mga tao...wala kayong heya........

I'm one of the GIP in Negros Occidental
we've done working for 52 day's but still we don't received the salary for the GIP program..we asked the DSWD staff but they don't have any idea.we've been waiting for a month already.
