Position: Presidential Staff Officer IV

Div./Office: Regional Youth Development Division

Place of Assignment:  NYC Area Office in CEBU CITY

Qualifications:

Education    :  Bachelor’s Degree,
Experience    :  2 years of relevant experience
Training    :  8 hours of relevant training,
Career Service Eligible (Professional) - Second Level Eligibility

Competencies Required:

Leadership, supervisory and managerial skills; computer literate; good in written and oral communication skills; coordination, interpersonal and public relations skills; able to immerse with youth in communities/schools (public and private) in  Region 6, 7 and 8; and excellent team player.

Responsibilities:

  1. Updates the immediate supervisor on cluster’s matters and concerns;

  2. Reviews and provides substantive points to draft/final memoranda, letters, or any correspondence, and other related documents;

  3. Designs and manages regional youth development-related initiatives, manuals, regional advocacy plans, mobilization of partners, including instruments & forms;

  4. Prepares regional/local monitoring-related researches/studies, and reports such as regional youth situation and good practices;

  5. Reviews and analyzes data;

  6. Prepares budget program for the unit’s activities;

  7. Acts as resource person in activities requiring such assistance;

  8. Attend and/or assist officials in meetings of regional advisory council, regional social development council, regional development council and similar bodies;

  9.  Supervises the performance of the unit’s staff; and

  10. Performs other related functions as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

 

Position:  Administrative Aide I
Item No./SG:  NYC-DSWDB-ADA1-30-2004:  (SG-1)
Div./Office: Administrative and Finance Division

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree -  None required
Experience  -   None required;
Training -  None required;
Career Service Eligibility  - None required (MC 10, s. 2005)
Others – With driving skills and professional driver’s license is preferred

Responsibilities:

1) Assists in janitorial work and general services;
2) Assists in the delivery of documents, payments, remittances, and other materials; and
3) Performs other related functions as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Position:                Administrative Assistant II

Qualifications:

 

Education: At least two years in college

Training:  4 hours relevant training

Experience: 1 year relevant experience 

Career Service Eligible (Sub-professional) - First Level Eligibility

 

Good in oral and written communication especially in drafting business correspondence. Organized, accurate and  attentive to  details. Good interpersonal relations. Can work well even under pressure. Can keep/handle confidential information. Knowledge in payroll administration.

 

Responsibilities:

 

1)  Prepares payroll and other requirements for the payment of salaries, allowances and other

     benefits of the staff;

2)  Acts as liaison officer to GSIS, HDMF, Philhealth;

3)  Provides administrative assistance in organizing/maintaining employees organization or

     cooperative;

4)  Monitors and administers step increment/s of staff;

5)  Monitors and reports lates and absences of staff including attendance to flag ceremony;

6)  Prepares staff clearance, service records and personnel certificates;

7)  Compute stipend of GIP trainees and prepares payroll;

8)  Provides administrative/logistics support during in-house trainings; and

9)  Performs other functions as may be assigned by the supervisor.
