Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with local stakeholders re: NYC programs/projects
  • Answer and entertain queries of the clientele
  • Drafts simple written correspondence
  • Provide staff support during meetings (documentation, taking of minutes)
  • Encode and type communications, reports, minutes of the meeting and other documents
  • Request and monitor supplies and logistics for the division
  • File and transmit official documents to concerned division/offices

            The National Youth Commission is also in need of Information Technology Officer and IT Technical Staff with the following designations:

 

 A. IT  Officer/IT Unit Head (Php 406, 308.00 per year)

 

  • Responsible for management and supervision of IT-related projects and activities; 
  • Manages the day-to-day operations of ICT network;
  • Leads in planning, development and implementation of information systems, enhancement/ maintenance of existing applications and its databases including the agency website.

B. Programmer (Php 322,536.00 per year)

  • Development of required systems needed by NYC
  • Makes the necessary adjustments and customization of existing software applications
  • Develops and maintains the NYC database
  • Ensures all data mining and generated reports yields correct interpretation of the data stored in the database
  • Provides a thorough checking and evaluation on the data stored in the database
  • Provides technical assistance and support for IT users at Central, Area Offices
  • Coordinates efforts of the assigned unit in the absence of assigned unit head
  • Operation and maintenance of assigned information systems
  • Monitors and resolves issues related to quality assurance, security management, systems administration and syst
  • ems development

C. Network  Administrator (Php 322,536.00 per year)

 

  • Designing and planning the network
  • Setting up the network
  • Maintaining the network
  • Expanding the network
  • Manage servers, including e-mail, print, and other internal services 
  • Maintain and verify backup servers/systems.
  • Manage security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Manage all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, and UPSs.
  • Provide first hand support, IT training, and troubleshooting to all office staff for network matters
  • Ensure network connectivity of all workstations.
  • Administer all equipment, hardware and software upgrades.

Position:                Administrative Assistant II

Item No./SG:          NYC-DSWDB-ADAS2-21-2004 / (SG 8)

Div./Office:               Administrative and Finance Division

 

Qualifications:

 

Education: At least two years in college

Training:  4 hours relevant training

Experience: 1 year relevant experience 

Career Service Eligible (Sub-professional) - First Level Eligibility

 

Good in oral and written communication especially in drafting business correspondence. Organized, accurate and  attentive to  details. Good interpersonal relations. Can work well even under pressure. Can keep/handle confidential information. Knowledge in payroll administration.

 

Responsibilities:

 

1)  Prepares payroll and other requirements for the payment of salaries, allowances and other

     benefits of the staff;

2)  Acts as liaison officer to GSIS, HDMF, Philhealth;

3)  Provides administrative assistance in organizing/maintaining employees organization or

     cooperative;

4)  Monitors and administers step increment/s of staff;

5)  Monitors and reports lates and absences of staff including attendance to flag ceremony;

6)  Prepares staff clearance, service records and personnel certificates;

7)  Compute stipend of GIP trainees and prepares payroll;

8)  Provides administrative/logistics support during in-house trainings; and

9)  Performs other functions as may be assigned by the supervisor.
